MARILYN ZWENG FIRST YEAR TEACHER GRANT
Each fall, ICTM will award up to 30 grants of $250 or $200 to support teachers that will be starting their first year teaching in Iowa. A grant of $250 is available to those teachers who are teaching mathematics full time. For those teachers that are teaching mathematics less than 50% of the day, a grant of $200 is available.
A one year membership to ICTM will be included with the grant. This grant program is a part of the ICTM Marilyn Zweng Trust Fund and is designed to support first year teachers teaching mathematics as they begin their career.
Marilyn Zweng First Year Teacher Grant applications are due August 15.

MARILYN ZWENG PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT GRANT
ICTM will award annually up to 20 grants of at most $250 each to support ICTM members in improving their instructional practice in mathematics teaching by engaging in a one-time professional development opportunity.
Marilyn Zweng Professional Development Grants will be awarded during two time frames: ten grants will be awarded between January 1 - June 30, and ten grants will be awarded from July 1 - December 31. Grant applications will be reviewed when they are received. Applicants are eligible for one grant per calendar year.
